Project Bio: Automated Floor Plan Quantification (POC) We work with architects, interior designers, and homeowners to design and build homes and commercial spaces. A key part of our process is analyzing floor plans to extract quantitative data such as room sizes, wall lengths, and material details. Right now, this is done manually — measuring drawings and entering data by hand. It’s slow, error-prone, and limits how many projects we can take on. We want to automate this workflow by building a proof-of-concept (POC) system that can take in a PDF floor plan and output structured data (like JSON).
