We are looking for someone based in China who can act as an import manager and trusted sourcing partner for our business. Clear communication in English is very important to us, alongside the ability to communicate effectively in local markets (Mandarin/Cantonese). The main responsibilities we are seeking support with include: Liaising directly with factories and suppliers on our behalf to ensure our requirements are clearly understood and actioned. Negotiating prices, minimum order quantities, and production timelines, always working to secure the best outcomes while maintaining quality. Sourcing materials, trims, and finished products that meet our design, quality, and brand standards. Arranging product samples and following up on production progress, ensuring deadlines are met and any issues are quickly addressed. Overseeing packaging, quality control, and shipping arrangements, to guarantee goods arrive as expected and in the best condition. Acting as a bridge between our brand and the local supply chain, making sure nothing is lost in translation and we have smooth, professional communication at all stages. We see this as a vital role in helping us expand and maintain strong, reliable supply chains in China.
