The Role We are seeking an Associate-level Structural Engineer to join our expanding Water Infrastructure team based in Sydney or Brisbane. As a key member of our multidisciplinary water team, you’ll contribute to the delivery of major network and facility projects both locally and ANZ-wide. Our team works across the full water cycle, delivering impactful projects such as: Major pipelines Large pumping stations Water, wastewater and advanced recycling treatment plants In this senior role, you’ll lead the structural engineering scope on projects of varying complexity and scale. Your expertise will be vital in the planning, design, and delivery of innovative water infrastructure solutions, while helping to foster a culture of technical excellence within the team. About you A Bachelor of Engineering in Structural or Civil Engineering. 10–15 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, with Chartered status. Strong expertise in structural design of water infrastructure including water retaining structures with a solid understanding of Australian Standards. Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept through to detailed design, including involvement in proposal development and client engagement. A proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships, with a focus on delivering high levels of client satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a range of stakeholders. With a track record of achievement, you will have preferably gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change.
