Role Overview
Associate Digital Activation Directors are responsible for end-to-end output across their entire client set, ensuring a high standard of output is delivered across brief responses, WIPs, business/quarterly reviews, reporting and campaign performance via a highly functioning team. This role must forge exceptionally strong relationships with senior clients, as well as maintaining a clear strategic vision to deliver growth for both clients and the Digital Activation team.
Associate Directors are expected to not only perform highly on seniors client management and create high functioning teams, but also in the ability to bring innovation and leadership to the entire Digital Activation team.
Key Outputs
Campaign Implementation
• Full ownership of output from your team across all clients. Engaging Directors when required, ensuring no basic errors and strong performance.
• Responding to, and presenting new business pitches.
Team & Communication
• Developing strong working relationships with their Digital Activation team and wider agency, building your personal brand within the agency.
• Excellent communication skills with close monitoring & escalation of issues in a timely manner.
• Ability to guide all members of the team from a product/tech standpoint and bring new and innovative ideas and learning programs to the team.
• Managing Digital Activation Managers - involves, coaches & motivates to help develop skills and responsibilities.
• Sharing of knowledge, innovations and insights with the wider agency.
Client
• Works autonomously to meet client and agency objectives & deliverables.
• Develops and implements ways of working with senior clients where necessary, to ensure an effective and efficient operating rhythm.
• Delivers thought leadership on all accounts, developing with Managers best in class strategies to deliver on clients objectives.
• Full responsibility for ensuring we hit designated client’s business KPI’s through their team.
• Focused on building strong professional relationships with senior clients.
• Strives to bring industry leading thinking, including working with Google and Facebook for first in market initiatives.
Administration
• Full accountability for monthly invoicing ensuring no errors and timely completion.
• Ensures timesheet completion of team.
• Forecasts spend and revenue, flagging any potential over servicing/under servicing with director/head of.
Skills & Experience
• This position requires a relevant tertiary qualification or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of qualification.
Excellent understanding and working knowledge of Programmatic, backed by relevant experience.
• Good understanding and working knowledge of Australian media landscape.
• Highly proficient in the following Office platforms: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience in working on new business pitches
