• Lady Davidson Private Hospital is one of the largest private dedicated rehabilitation hospitals in Australia and is set on the edge of the beautiful Ku-ring-gai National Park in North Turramurra. With 115 inpatient rehabilitation beds and an extensive Day Program, the hospital has been designed to promote rehabilitation with the use of five well-equipped gymnasiums, a large hydrotherapy pool and an independent living assessment unit.

As an Assistant in Nursing your responsibilities will include

• Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
• Work as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters
• Assess patients using therapeutic skills
• Provide recommendations to specialist treatment programs based on their diagnosis
• Answering patient/family/visitor/customer enquiries

Essential Criteria

• Certificate III/IV (from an approved training provider) in Community and Health Services, Personal Carer
• Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing desired
