About the role:

The Project Officer provides support for the implementation of policies and programs that lift the capability and competence of South Australian small and medium businesses to help them succeed. The role facilitates the delivery of a range of initiatives and programs to support the achievement of the Small and Family Business team objectives.

The role works constructively as part of team to support the management of relationships and networks in South Australia’s business community, including internal and external stakeholders and partner organisations.

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Strong project management and grant administration skills, including the initiation, documentation, delivery and monitoring of projects and grants.
  • Experience delivering effective customer services to a diverse range of customers/ stakeholders; anticipating customer needs and; developing and maintaining customer confidence with both internal and external customers.
  • Experience in the use of project management techniques, methodologies and software.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with people at all levels including developing and maintaining collaborative networks and managing conflict with patience and diplomacy.
  • Experience undertaking research, including collating and summarising information to meet business needs.

Remuneration:

Competitive salary will be offered as $85,790 to $95,413 p.a. plus superannuation

Special Conditions:

  • This position will be offered as a full-time 12 month contract.
  • A Satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check (NPC) will be required prior to employment.
