We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Arborist to expand our team.

You will have a minimum Cert III in Arboriculture, with previous demonstrated experience in tree operations and maintenance services including climbing, EWP, rigging and chainsaw operations. Must be willing to share your skills and knowledge with our apprentice arborist.

Your workday will involve working with our (Qualified) Tree Crew Manager, through leading and motivating a small team in all aspects of tree care services to a combination of commercial, government and residential clientele with the opportunity to work in varied landscape environments in both small- and large-scale projects.

Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate with very competitive salary based on experience. Your attributes and requirements are:

• Construction White Card (or equivalent)
• Unrestricted MR Licence (preferred, could help obtain)
• Certificate III (or higher) in Arboriculture
• Demonstrated industry experience
• Experience in tree climbing and rigging
• Experience in operation of tree equipment and other practical industry tasks
• Self-motivated, high attention to detail
• Team player, enjoy working as part of a team
• Happy to share your skills and knowledge
• Reliable, punctual and hard working
• Well presented with good communication skills
• Passion for high level customer service
• Physically fit (for the NQ heat)!
• Work to deadlines and take directions from Manager
• Good leadership skills
• Good attitude & work ethic
• Strong commitment to safe work practices!

Job Type: Full-time

Competitive Pay: subject to experience & interview

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift (7am - 3pm)
• Mon - Fri

Ability to commute/ relocate:

• Slade Point Mackay, QLD 4740: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• arborist tree climbing: 3 years (Required)
