Prepare and interpret electrical diagrams, layout plans, and technical drawings for
installations and circuitry.
Assist in the design and development of electrical installations across substations,
switchgear, cabling, and motor control systems.
Install, wire, commission, test, calibrate, and service industrial electrical
equipment to meet safety and performance standards.
Conduct inspections, troubleshoot faults, and adjust systems to ensure compliance
with relevant regulations and specifications.
Collect and analyse data from electrical systems, perform complex calculations,
and prepare detailed reports and charts to support reliability assessments.
Estimate material requirements and costs to support project planning and
budgeting.
Support engineers and technologists with field setup, testing, and research
programs.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, system configurations, and
materials used.
Undertake workshop duties including assembly and installation of protection
relays, metering, and indicating devices.
Provide technical support both on-site and within workshop environments,
working independently and collaboratively as needed.

About You
Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field, or at
least 3 years’ practical experience.
Strong understanding of electrical control panels, circuitry, and safety protocols.
Proven ability to work effectively in both field and workshop settings with
minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail in documentation.
