Climate Air Solutions are looking for an experienced Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team in Newcastle, NSW.

Key responsibilities include:
- Adjusting system controls and reassembling systems;
- Brazing and welding pipes to connect equipment, and checking alignment and accuracy of fit;
- Checking refrigeration & air conditioning systems to diagnose faults and repairing and replacing defective components;
- Drilling holes, installing mounting brackets and cutting, bending and threading piping to fit infrastructure;
- Filling systems with gas or fluid to check for leaks, and removing test gas and fluid using vacuum pumps and filling with refrigerant;
- Installing and repairing domestic and commercial HVAC systems;
- Installing and repairing compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches, and copper lines for steam, gas, refrigerant, compressed air, oil and chilled water;
- Maintaining works log by recording malfunction causes and action taken;
- Test-operating refrigeration systems, checking mechanisms and making adjustments.

To be considered you will need to have a level of skill commensurate with a relevant Trade Certificate or higher qualification, and at least one year of relevant employment experience OR at least three years of relevant employment experience as an Airconditioning and Refrigeration Technician.

This is a full time position, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $80,000 - $100,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
