team and contribute to the development of sustainable, high-efficiency farming systems.

The Role

As an Agricultural Engineer (ANZSCO 233912), you will perform and supervise engineering work related to the development and optimisation of agricultural land, infrastructure, machinery, and equipment. This role is pivotal in integrating our crop protection and fertiliser products into scalable farming solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• System Integration: Contribute to the development of sustainable agricultural systems by integrating the company’s crop protection, fertiliser, and soil amendment products into farming operations.
• Field Research: Assist in product trials and field research focused on nutrient management, soil health, and water conservation, evaluating the environmental impact of chemical formulations.
• Precision Agriculture: Support the implementation of precision technologies, including GPS, GIS, and variable rate application systems, to enhance resource efficiency and agrochemical application.
• Infrastructure Design: Collaborate with engineering and agronomy teams to design and improve on-farm systems, such as irrigation setups, hydraulic conduction networks, and chemical storage solutions.
• Environmental Monitoring: Report on the environmental impacts of product use and assist in developing best practice guidelines and mitigation strategies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects and applications comply with Australian agricultural, chemical handling, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications and Skills
• Education: A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Agricultural Engineering (ANZSCO Skill Level 1) is required.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project for designing hydraulic networks and planning project schedules.
• Practical Knowledge: Experience or training in fertigation, greenhouse engineering, and land adaptation for crops.
• Communication: Strong ability to provide training and technical advice on the handling of hydraulic equipment and application rates.
• Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with environmental concessions and international certifications is highly regarded.
