About the Position:
The Aged or Disabled Carer role at Exaudy Care involves providing compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with disabilities or aged care needs, helping them achieve greater independence and quality of life in their homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and meal preparation.
Support clients in community participation and social engagement activities.
Implement individualized care plans in line with NDIS goals and requirements.
Monitor and report on clients’ health, wellbeing, and progress to relevant stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with organizational and NDIS standards.
Requirements:
Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications: Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability Care.
Experience: Minimum 12 months of full-time experience in aged or disability care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients.
Empathy and patience in supporting individuals with diverse needs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of NDIS frameworks and person-centered care principles.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred).
