  • About the Opportunity
  • We currently have a 12 month parental leave backfill opportunity for an Advisor, Internal Communications, to support our internal communications strategy.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Internal Communications, your day to day will include

  • Assisting in developing and implementing the internal communications strategy to ensure employees are informed, engaged and aligned with our values, policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring all internal communications are strategically aligned to promote our values and meet the objectives of One Minderoo stakeholders.
  • Leading and coordinating internal events, such as town halls, musters, end-of-year functions and Founder and executive presentations, from concept through to execution, including budgeting, scheduling, venue selection, logistics and vendor management.
  • Developing and managing content across internal channels, including the OneMinderoo intranet (SharePoint), email campaigns (Campaign Monitor), Teams, internal signage and The Weekly newsletter.
  • Fostering consistent communication and connection across all locations, with particular focus on The Swan and Sydney offices.
  • Supporting creation of Town Hall and other internal event agendas, run sheets and invitations, and oversee event delivery on the day.
  • Collaborating with Focus Areas, Impact Missions, Enablers, Corporate Services on internal communications.
  • Maintaining accurate internal distribution lists in coordination with IT and People and Culture.
  • Overseeing internal communications and internal event budgets, invoices and financial reconciliation, reporting to the Senior Manager, Internal Communications and other stakeholders.
  • Managing relationships with key vendors, suppliers and partners to secure high-quality services and favourable terms.
  • Coordinating partner gifted tickets offered to the Foundation, ensuring they are allocated and utilised effectively.
  • Qualifications
  • About You
  • To be successful, you will possess specialist knowledge in internal communications, particularly in cross-sector contexts, including private, public and academic. Ideally you will hold a relevant qualification, and/or 3 years’ experience in project management, event management, and communications within complex environments.

In addition, you will bring

  • Experience in running Teams meetings, including high-level troubleshooting and backend functions.
  • Familiarity with Campaign Monitor, Typeform and desirable tools like Slido.
  • Competency with basic audiovisual equipment, ensuring seamless integration with Teams for virtual meetings.
  • Strong writing, storytelling and verbal communication skills, adapting to a variety of working styles.
