Academic Services Division This is a full-time continuing position with salary in the range $76,025 - $80,606 (HEW 4), plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. Based at our St Lucia campus About This Opportunity We are seeking motivated individuals to join our student and academic administration rotational program. This unique opportunity provides broad-based administrative experience across key areas like admissions, enrolments, graduations, and faculty support. You will rotate through different units on a flexible schedule, with full training provided to ensure you gain the essential knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in university administration. Key responsibilities will include: Administrative and Procedural Support Provide high-quality administrative support across various areas of the Academic Services Division and faculties. This includes tasks such as preparing materials for publications and examinations, processing a variety of student applications and requests, and assisting with the preparation of agendas and minutes. Customer Service and Query Resolution Serve as a key service point, providing quality customer service to students and faculty clients. You will answer basic student queries, provide advice and assistance on a range of issues, and quickly gain an understanding of relevant university policies and procedures. System Operation and Collaboration Effectively use various IT systems (SI-net, Business Objects, Microsoft Office) to complete tasks and process information. You will also maintain effective communication by liaising with academic and administrative colleagues across the University and attending marketing events as required. Please note for some of the rotational functions (examinations and graduations) restricted leave periods, intercampus travel, weekend shifts and rostered work outside standard hours during peak periods will be required. About You Completion of a degree/diploma level qualification. Excellent oral and written communication skills and proven liaison abilities, demonstrating a strong commitment to providing high-quality client service. Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and consistently demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail. You must also be able to maintain confidentiality. Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). You also have a broad understanding of the university environment and the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures in student and academic administration. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and can readily adapt to change and evolving work practices and processes. You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment, and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
