The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Accounts Payable Officer to join our Brisbane head office. This role offers the opportunity to not only manage day-to-day accounts payable but to streamline processes and help shape a best-in-class finance function that scales with LETO’s national growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice entry, coding, approvals, and payment runs
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records, supporting audits and compliance requirements
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth payment workflows
- Prepare reports on AP ageing, payment forecasts, and cashflow impacts
- Support month-end close activities and assist the finance team with reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with company policies, tax requirements, and internal controls
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience (2+ years) in accounts payable or a similar finance role
- Strong knowledge of AP processes, reconciliations, and accounting principles
- Experience with ERP systems or accounting software (SimPRO / MYOB / Xero or similar)
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with data-driven reporting
- High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise deadlines, and take ownership of tasks
- Formal qualifications in accounting, finance, or business are desirable but not essential
