What you’ll be doing:

* Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, reconciliations, and monitoring debtor/creditor accounts
* Track project expenses and allocating costs to specific jobs or cost centres
* Investigate and validate costs related to quotations, supplier estimates and subcontractor proposals
* Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently
* Assist with preparing accurate financial records, project cost reports, and budgets
* Supporting management with project cost documentation and reporting
* Delivering friendly, professional customer service when required

What we’re looking for:

* Certificate or Diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping (preferred)
* Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role (at least 3 years’ experience)
* Proficiency with accounting and bookkeeping software (eg MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, or SAP)
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
* Familiarity with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) requirements (BAS, GST, PAYG)
* Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (AP, AR, reconciliations)
* Fast, accurate data entry skills with strong attention to details
* Excellent time management skills

Salary: $75,000- $85,000 annually
