With multiple roles available, this is an outstanding opportunity for either an early-career accountant or graduate looking to do their CPA, or an experienced accountant.
The OpportunityReporting to experienced senior staff, you will be responsible for providing a range of core accounting and tax services for a variety of entities. This is a hands-on role that gives you great exposure to client relationships and tax advisory work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, and Business Activity Statements (BAS) for various entity types.
- Liaising directly with clients, the ATO, and other regulatory bodies.
- Providing tax effective outcomes under supervision, including exposure to tax planning.
- Supporting senior staff with ongoing client engagements.
This is a key role for a highly organised, professional, and client-focused accountant.
You will bring:
- A degree in Accounting.
- A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Australian Public Practice (desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to prepare full accounts to the review stage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with Xero (highly regarded).
- A team-player attitude with an enthusiastic approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
