The Role

We have an exciting opportunity at Salter Brothers Hospitality in Queensland (Fortitude Valley, QLD 400 – Spicers Clovelly Estate), as part of the Salter Brothers Hospitality Retreat Company No.2 Pty Ltd, for a passionate and experienced Accountant to join our Central Services team.

As our Accountant, you will report to the company CFO and will be an integral part of delivering the Spicers experience to our stakeholders.

General Responsibilities:
to provide commercial assistance to the business, including financial analysis, budgeting/forecasting, and performance reporting.
Working collaboratively within the Finance team
the accountant will have an integral role in delivering support, advice, and business intelligence to key stakeholders throughout our luxury hotel portfolio.

Skills and Experience:
Relevant qualifications
Previous accounting experience in the Hospitality Industry for at least 3 years
CPA or CA qualified or currently completing (desirable but not essential)
Experience with Xero, MYOB and Reckon accounting packages
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Positive, enthusiastic and professional attitude
