Accountant
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant to join our business. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a small, collaborative team and wants to grow with the business. Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

Key Responsibilities
• Tax planning and compliance, including BAS and IAS preparation and lodgement
• Preparation of End of Year financial statements and liaison with external Tax Accountants
• Monthly and quarterly financial reporting to Directors, including variance analysis
• Preparation and presentation of management reports to support business decision-making
• Maintaining, reviewing, and improving accounting and finance systems and processes
• Bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations within Xero
• Accounts payable and receivable oversight
• Payroll processing and superannuation compliance (as required)
• Monitoring business performance and providing financial insights and recommendations
• Ensuring compliance with ATO, ASIC, and statutory requirements
• Supporting audits and responding to external accountant or auditor queries

Skills & Experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting or similar role
• Relevant accounting qualifications (Degree in Accounting, CPA/CA progress desirable)
• Strong working knowledge of MYOB, Xero, and Dext (formerly Receipt Bank)
• High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly
• Comfortable working directly with business owners and senior stakeholders
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage deadlines independently
• Enjoy working in a small, collaborative team environment
