Amazon Web Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to join our Public Sector team in Sydney. The territory covers a portfolio of Local Government, State Government and Utilities. You will be responsible for developing and managing a sales pipeline, delivering on account strategies, identifying and building relationships with key decision makers, working with internal stakeholders and cross functional teams to create and present compelling solutions that drive great customer outcomes.

Key job responsibilities
Work to increasing adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territory
Help create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business
Articulate a compelling value propositions to customers
Work with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunities
Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
Basic qualifications
• 3yrs+ account management and/or business development experience in the IT industry • Experience in enterprise technology and business solutions sales • Sales experience with a focus on quota-carrying roles
Preferred qualifications
• Experience selling cloud and or SaaS solutions into government • Experience working with consulting partners and system integrators
