This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Ooma, INC. We are currently looking for an Account Executive, Events Sales in United States.
Are you a motivated sales professional with a passion for connecting with people and closing deals? This role offers the chance to make a direct impact by driving growth through new business acquisition in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. You’ll engage small and mid-market business owners, present cutting-edge communication solutions, and own the entire sales process from prospecting to close. With travel opportunities to trade shows and a strong support system, this position is ideal for a driven, self-starting “hunter” ready to take their career to the next level.
Accountabilities:
- Actively generate leads and new business opportunities through a mix of cold calling, networking, door-to-door outreach, and participation in industry events (travel required 1–2 times/month).
- Sell a portfolio of award-winning business communication and technology products to small and mid-sized companies.
- Manage the entire sales cycle independently—from lead generation to closing—while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Build a robust sales pipeline, track opportunities using Salesforce, and forecast results accurately.
- Deliver tailored product demos and presentations to potential clients, clearly articulating value and ROI.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stay up to date on product offerings to deliver strategic, solution-based sales pitches.
- Contribute to long-term company growth and enjoy clear paths for professional advancement.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of successful B2B sales experience, ideally in a high-volume or tech-focused environment.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas through proactive outreach and strong closing skills.
- “Hunter” mentality: self-motivated, relentless, and energized by generating and converting new leads.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage business decision-makers.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM tools like Salesforce to manage pipelines and activities.
- Background in telecommunications or SaaS is a plus but not required.
- Adaptability, resilience, and a strategic mindset are essential to succeed in this dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel across the U.S. 1–2 times per month for events and trade shows.
Benefits
- Competitive OTE: $75,000–$82,000 (base + commission), depending on location.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and eligible dependents.
- Flexible HMO, PPO, and HDHP plans (with HSA contributions from the employer).
- Employer-paid life, AD&D, short- and long-term disability insurance.
- FSA for healthcare and dependent care, plus commuter benefits.
- Voluntary benefits including accident, critical illness, and legal services.
- 401(k) with employer match and Roth options.
- Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
- Generous paid vacation, sick time, and company holidays.
- Employee Assistance Program, wellness services, and identity theft protection.
- Exclusive employee perks including discounts, credit union access, and Medicare assistance.
