Just steps from Kurrawa Beach, cafes, restaurants, and local attractions, we pride ourselves on creating memorable guest experiences with a warm and welcoming coastal vibe.

We are looking for an Accommodation Manager to join the team! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the hotel, ensuring a positive guest experience while maintaining efficiency and profitability. This is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Broadbeach, QLD.

Main tasks:

Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily management of the building, including rental operations.
- Supervise and coordinate staff, including cleaners, maintenance teams, and marketing personnel.
- Ensure the property is well-maintained, safe, and operating efficiently.

Guest & Service Management:
- Oversee guest services to maintain an excellent customer experience.
- Implement room improvements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.

Procurement & Vendor Management:
- Source and manage external service providers for cleaning, maintenance, and other building needs.
- Ensure cost-effective procurement of supplies and services.

Building Operations & Compliance:
- Manage obligations related to the body corporate committee, ensuring compliance with regulations and operational guidelines.
- Provide reporting and support for building-related requirements.

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:

- Minimum of a relevant Diploma qualification plus minimum 1 year’ relevant work experience in the last 5 years.
- 3 years’ relevant work experience may substitute the formal qualification.

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate diverse teams.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, ensuring positive guest experiences.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills to oversee multiple tasks and operations simultaneously.
- Knowledge of hotel/short-term accommodation operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle guest complaints or operational issues effectively.
- Good knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and liaising with staff, guests, and external stakeholders.

Annual salary will be between $76,000.00 to $86,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
